OUR BRIDAL BIBLE
The majority of our weddings are based on recommendations, whether that be from suppliers or previous clients, a recommendation goes a long way. Our little black book is built on trust, quality and experience, we think it’s unethical that some venues charge suppliers to hop on their recommend list, and believe that a recommendation should be from the heart.
The following list of suppliers are people that really go the extra mile for their couples and whom we love to work with. You’ll be in safe hands with these guys, give them a cheeky wave from us when you enquire!
Amanda K – Amanda is delightful, she is one of the most considerate bridal suppliers we’ve come across and regularly keeps in contact with us regarding Brides that have selected both of our services. With fabulous reviews on all platforms, it’s easy to see why Amanda K is hugely popular.
Philip Taylor-Corps – Philip’s flowers have a sense of elegance and sophistication. He has extensive knowledge of the South West’s finest venues, it’s always a delight to see his creations on such occasions.
Wedding Flowers in Cornwall – Anna set up her wedding floristry business around about the same time we entered the scene with wedding photography. Over the years we cross paths regularly, and have since built up a solid friendship.
ER Stationery – A friendly and focused team dedicated to providing top quality couture wedding stationery designed around your thoughts, giving you wedding stationery that will amaze your friends and family. Absolutely love this company and all their creations, simply stunning.
Dearly Beloved Stationery – We want to get married again just so we can use these guys!!! Pleasure of coming across their beautiful designs at Zoe and Ed’s wedding in May 2016, and loved their ethos of business. Absolutely gorgeous personalised designs.
Edible Essence – The winner of The Wedding Industry Awards 2017 Best Cake Maker. Jennifer at Edible Essence is fabulous, her cakes are jaw dropping and absolutely scrumptious!
Amy Elizabeth – Weddings are ever so emotional, so finding a make up artist that can give you a photo finish with results that last the day can be daunting.Amy is naturally a people person, and has the ability to make even the most tense of brides relax and enjoy the moment, with a flair of ensuring that you still look like you.
The Distinguished Toastmaster – Having somebody like Steve there on your special day can really take the pressure off you and your wedding party, by ensuring your day runs smoothly. Steve is always on hand, and instantly makes you feel comfortable.
We’re HUGE foodies in this house, so it’s always rather exciting to see who will be catering for each wedding day, we absolutely love Jamie and Richard, so it’s hard to pinpoint what makes them stand from the crowd, because they are both just so blinking brilliant! Whoever you choose, you’ll be in safe hands with the delicious menu they create for you.
Keiko Rise – Never have we attended a wedding where Keiko Rise are in action and not seen the crowd moving. Having played alongside frontman AJ, way back when I (Christian) was a drummer in 2010, I’ve followed his success with Keiko Rise with admiration. It’s no surprise they are now one of the UK’s most popular wedding bands. They’re possibly one of the most charismatic bands I’ve come across.
Kaj – We need to do more weddings with this guy, he’s amazing!! From gentle acoustics, to high energy sets to get your guests dancing, you’re entertainment will be in safe hands.
Life is Rosie – Rosie is AMAZING! We actually hired her to style our Son’s Christening in 2016, and my goodness she was fabulous! I’m (Sam) a huge perfectionist when it comes to presentation and how things look, and handing over the control to somebody else was mega. We were so delighted with what Rosie achieved and would thoroughly recommend her to everybody!
The Cornish Ice Trike – Matt and Helen are great friends of ours, and provide a fantastic service serving Roskilly’s ice cream from their vintage trike. Love seeing these guys at a wedding!
Hufflepuff Lodge – Based on A30, it’s the perfect spot for wedding venue scouting if you’re not local to Cornwall. Julie and Michael are wonderful hosts, and treat their guests as if they were staying in a 5* hotel. Definitely one to take a peak at.
Pasties and Petticoats – Possibly one of the most honest and fun wedding blogs you’ll come across. If you’re planning a wedding in the South West, then you most certainly should hop on over to see the latest.
