There is something magical about wedding days, I love hearing about each couples story, how they met, how they got engaged and listening to their story so far. It really is an honour to be trusted with their wedding photography, and know they have the faith in you to capture one of the most important days of their life.
Being trusted to photograph a PROPOSAL really is quite something!
Chris got in touch with us a few weeks before him and Lucy were visiting Cornwall and after a few secret conversations, we had orchestrated a plan for the big moment at a beach during sunset. Sadly, nobody told the weather and the forecast was set to be a wash out!
Living in Cornwall, you are only too aware that it can be sunny in one town and pouring in the next, it has a weather climate of it’s own! A last minute decision/change was made for the proposal to take place at the beautiful poppy fields of West Pentire around midday.
When Chris and Lucy walked through the fields, I was there with my wife and baby, to a passer by we were unsuspecting – little did they know a chilled bottle of prosecco and two glasses were hidden in the baby bag!
As soon as Chris started talking, all attention was on them, Lucy was still unsuspecting and we were able to capture this moment perfectly! After Chris pointed us out, we allowed them to toast to their exciting news and offered a mini engagement session. There are a few sneak peaks below!
Huge congratulations both! It was a total pleasure to be involved with!
Thank you, it was lovely. That was a great location and it was lovely meeting both you and your wife. Thank you to both of you for editing them so quickly. I also just wanted to say thank you for the quality of photos, how flexible and accomodating you’ve been and for the bubbly. It’s been a real pleasure working with you.
