"I was scouring Google looking for a good wedding photographer when i came across christianmichael.co.uk. I am a wedding photographer myself and as such had a tough agenda and high expectations to be fulfilled. I was keen to find a photographer who shot in a hi-contrast magazine style with an artistic flair and strong use of colour. Perhaps unsurprisingly I was looking for someone whose photo style matched my own.

"I called Chris and we had a good chat on the phone. Christian and Michael are two very professional photographers - both with a great pedigree who work in partnership covering all of the South West of England and further afield by appointment. My bride and I live in Surrey but were getting married in Dunster Castle in Somerset and thus decided that the quality of the photographer, not where they lived, was the priority. It did mean that meeting the guys was limited to the day before the wedding but they are really helpful on the phone and their website shows a huge range of their work and style so the 300 mile distance wasnt an issue.

"Whilst I, as a wedding pro generally work by myself it was refreshing and an eye opener to see the two guys working together- the organisation and ability to capture more was exceptional and I am now looking myself to partner up with a photographer mate to shoot weddings- such was the strength of the impression they left.

"Chris and Mike are both great photographers but also experts with Photoshop. The shots we recieved were bright, artistic,and some simply breathtaking. When your bride cant stop grinning and stays up til 4 in the morning looking at them, you know you have made the right decision with your photographer. I believe they do various packages but I picked the top one that meant they were snapping away from 9 in the morning thru to 7 in the evening. Both guys are a great laugh and very friendly- all my guests commented on how good they were and how relaxed they made people feel in front of the camera.

"In short, you may find cheaper photographers but not at this level. If you want a Vogue quality photoshoot and stunning images to last the rest of your lives christianmichael are the photographers for you - I personally think your wedding day images are one of the most important parts of a wedding and thus deserves a big budget but they can provide a package to match your budget and still far outdo the competition.

"I am aware as a wedding photographer myself just how important it is to blend into the day and not become intrusive. Michael, who shot Selina getting ready in the morning was top notch, bringing a sparkling humour and calming influence that put her at ease and helped her keep her nerves. Chris who drew the short straw with me and the groomsmen was a welcome distraction who made me laugh and helped with me getting my crowd organised.
