Contemporary Wedding Photography

Here at Christian Michael Devon Wedding Photography, we are constantly developing our style with current trends and requests from our bride and grooms. The current trend is Contemporary Reportage Photography. We have previously looked at Reportage Photography on another page, but we are focusing on what is Contemporary Wedding Photography?

By definition the word Contemporary is modern, fashionable, up to date and current. To be able to produce Contemporary Wedding Photography it is crucial for us to stay up to date with not only styles, but technology, techniques and influences. We constantly strive to produce the best images possible at every wedding and are continually developing our style to keep current.

Style; It is our belief that the current in vogue style is Reportage as discussed previously.

Technology; We not only keep our cameras and lenses in perfect working order, but up to date with the latest releases for their increased quality and features. We use Canon cameras and the best L series lenses combined with high quality SanDisk memory cards.

Techniques; The very latest techniques for photography amongst others are to use off camera flashes and underexposing the background to make the bride and groom really stand out. Post wedding we edit the images using the latest computers and techniques to optimise them to increase the quality further more. We use the latest Apple Mac computers and newest image editing software.
