Debbie and Mark’s Wedding Day
Pendennis Castle, Cornwall
It’s been a while since I’ve shot at Pendennis, but it was great to be back! When Debbie and Mark got in touch about their wedding day on summer solstice 2016, I was excited to get the booking.
This year, due to the birth of Arlo, I’ve tried to keep my weddings within Devon and Cornwall, 2015 saw me spend the majority of my time in London and in Europe, so it’s been great catching up with local suppliers, this wedding was no exception and it was great to see Kev at Plan 9, Nite Flite Discos, and George Mackay Flowers once again.
Debbie and Mark had a later ceremony at 4pm, which given the time of year was perfect. The bridesmaids were dressed in a deep red, with Debbie’s bouquet complimenting them perfectly. The gentlemen had top hats, cogs and feathers, completing their look with pocket watches.
Pendennis Castle was an obvious choice for Debbie and Mark, having got engaged there last August, it was a perfect way to start their life together as husband and wife.
After their meal, everybody was treated to a fantastic fireworks alongside to Fanfare For The Common Man ELP at 10:30pm to celebrate the official Summer Solstice.
Debbie and Mark, it was a pleasure to be your photographer, it was such a fabulous day and you have the most wonderful group of family and friends.
Here are a few sneak peaks from their fantastic day.
