Well, first things first! You can’t talk about Dunster Castle wedding photography without mentioning the Village of Dunster first. Words that spring to mind are quaint, English, stunning and perfect. Perfect for and bride or groom preparing for a wedding at a fairytale wedding venue with several hotels situated within old English streets that come straight from a storybook.

Christian Michael visited Dunster Castle for a wedding earlier this year and had a great time taking wedding photographs of the Dunster Castle wedding which took place in the Tenants Hall which has a beautiful open beamed roof and Tudor chandeliers. The grounds of the castle are a feast for any wedding photographer and are some of the best location photography we have seen in Somerset. It’s all there, from manicured lawns, beautiful architecture and ruins to tree lined drives. In short Dunster Castle is a wedding photographers dream in the heart of the Somerset.

The staff at Dunster are both friendly and helpful to both guests and wedding photographer alike. We often love a venue but are put off by the staff who simply don’t have it “together”. We have been fortunate enough to have photographed many National Trust properties and have always found the staff to be professional and passionate about the properties they work around, Dunster is no exception to this rule.
