I absolutely adored this elopement at Bovey Castle earlier this year, early Autumn is a beautiful time for light and as I’ve mentioned many times on my blog I have a huge soft spot for the smaller weddings.
Jowita and Piotr were so welcoming to myself, and opted for 2 hours of photography. I have a lot of emails from couples worried that at an elopement, photography will overpower intimate occasion. I work really hard to ensure this doesn’t happen and still follow the same relaxed ethos as I do on the bigger occasions. Wedding photography isn’t all about knowing how to take a good picture, it’s also about being a people person and knowing when to step back and let a couple be them (whilst maybe sneaking a few enchanting candids).
Jowita and Piotr were delight to be around, and I had great fun working alongside them to capture a really beautiful set of images.
Here are some previews from their wedding day.
