The Porthminster Hotel is a truly magical setting for a wedding day in St Ives. You are able to take your vows against a backdrop of golden sands, open skies and clear blue waters. Sip Champagne with your guests in the hotels leafy, private gardens and head down to the beach where we can capture your special wedding photographs. The hotel lets you enjoy sumptuous reception lunch or dinner overlooking St.Ives Bay, and if you're lucky you might even glimpse some visiting dolphins or seals, and then dance the night away in one of the hotels elegant function rooms.

Wedding Photography at the Porthminster Hotel in St Ives is a dream. Not only is the hotel light and airy but the locations is simply stunning. With easy access through the hotels private gardens down on to Porthminster beach, one of our favourite spots in St Ives for Wedding Photography.

Most of the year we can capture a Sunset as it dips down over the horizon and the colours reflected off the sea and the wet sand are beautiful. You can even get a great shot of St Ives as a backdrop to your wedding pictures.

We thoroughly recommend your guests travel to the Hotel via train as it hugs the coast line from Leland, through Carbis and into St Ives. Not only is this journey the best way to take in the stunning scenery but also avoids the difficulty of finding a car parking space in the towns limited car parks! Luckily the Porthminster Hotel does have ample parking, although their overflow car park is on one of the steepest hills we’ve ever seen!

Put simply it is a wonderful location for a wedding photographer in St Ives, and fortunately for us it is just 3 miles from our Hayle Studio.
