The Saunton Sands Hotel sits above the northern end of the famous Saunton Sands beach in North Devon stretching over 5 miles of golden sands which is extremely popular with tourists, especially the surfing community. The beach itself has been made famous appearing in several films and events, notably in the Robbie Williams video for ‘Angels’ and on the front cover of the synonymous Pink Floyd album cover for ‘A Momentary Lapse of Reason’ where over 700 cast iron hospital beds were placed on the beach!
