Scorrier House is an 18th century manor house situated near Redruth in Cornwall. It was built in 1778 by the Williams family and has passed through several generations and still remains under the ownership of the Williams family today. The continuity of ownership has allowed the house to retain many of its distinctive characteristics which makes it an ideal wedding location in Cornwall. This beautiful house can accommodate up to 160 people for an amazing wedding. The main banquet hall is truly stunning with a double fronted staircase leading down to form a single staircase leading down to the main hall, which in itself is a beautiful location for bride and groom photography. There is an additional outer hall, drawing room, conservatory and potentially room for a marquee at the venue if required. Additional facilities include private brides changing room, a double bedroom and a blue room for your guests to relax in. The house is also available for civil ceremony weddings, corporate parties, private parties, product launches and open air events, it is even being used as the backdrop for major films.
