Zoe and Ed’s Wedding Day in Cornwall

I have been so excited about writing this blog, and sharing these images.  You know when you meet somebody and just think YES! Well, that’s the feeling I got when I met with Zoe and Ed, and heard all about their amazing day.

I met with them both several months before their wedding at our base in Gulval.   Cornwall is such a small world, and with the majority of our couples being out of County/Country, it was unusual (but nice) to have be photographing a local couples wedding day.  Infact, Cornwall is SO small worldy, that it turned out Zoe (a midwife) was actually on the same shift at the hospital when our little boy, Arlo was born in February!

Zoe and Ed’s day was simply amazing, they were wed at St Hydroc Church, with Zoe’s Grandfather having the honour of “giving her away”.  It was ever so beautiful, and hard not to get caught up in the emotion of it all.  St Hydroc Church is set within the grounds of the stunning National Trust Lanhydrock House, so I was delighted we were blessed with a gorgeous sunny day, and had the chance to capture some relaxed and informal images of Zoe and Ed mingling with their guests.

I must say at this point, it was super to be working alongside “I Do Film Weddings” once again, a fellow Cornish Brides awards winner (great taste guys) – You can view their wedding trailer here!

After all the mingling was done at Lanhydrock, we headed back to the family farm, where LPM Bohemia had provided THE most awesome marquee I’ve ever seen – seriously, check these guys out!

With our good friend Kaj there to provide the evenings entertainment, and the Good Food Company providing the menu, I knew we were in safe hands for the rest of the celebrations.

Zoe and Ed, are individually some of the most kind hearted and caring people I’ve had the joy in meeting (let alone photographing), it seems only natural they should have met and married one another.  We wish them all the very best for the future, and truly hope you keep in touch guys!!

Enjoy these sneak previews from a very quintessentially beautifully British early Summer’s wedding.
